Finally – a perm job!

After 2.5 years, finally found a perm job! 2.5 years of contract job & not working saw me accumulated tons of debts.. But finally found a perm job & hopefully I can clear off my debts one by one.. Good thing of changing job is de pay hike. After these 2yrs+, my pay increased almost by 2 times..

New job is in the IT industry yet again. Role is a bit similar to CSC but with more regional exposure. Hopefully I can excel in it. No more oil & gas for the time being! Last role at BW was a bad experience. Job scope was ok but the colleagues and manager reali suck to de max. Reali hate working wif Malay. They reali noe how to suck up n act busy, juz like some Filipino I worked with. Faker to de max. More abt the unpleasantness later. Worse, the location of BW is reali bad for me too. it reali is damn inconvenient. From my place need to take 4 3 transport to reach there. Like bus 81 to kovan den take mrt to harbourfront den change shuttle bus n 5 min of walking. Imagine de trouble juz to get to work! So unmotivated to go work! Wasted so much monies on taking cab during my 3 months there..

Current job @ Misys; located at shenton way is much more accessible. Working hour is shorter as well (9am to 530pm).. And they emphasize on work-life balance! Employees encouraged to go back on time; unlike at BW wif de psycho manager fr hell! Started @ Misys last Tuesday (27 sept) & today marks the start of my 2nd week. More updates later!

Busy Day @ work

today is a very busy day.. whole day busy doing the interview coordination and conducting interview.. Was hiring indonesians for ship commissioning.. The English standard is really different from Singapore.. A lot of them cant really speak English well..

Didnt really sleep well last nite cos usually cant reali sleep in a new environment so end up being reali tired and sleepy in the late noon. And sleeping alone in the hotel room after being used to sleeping with hubby is reali difficult..

Luckily last nite tonight and tmr can go back home and sleep soundly.. But damn sian cos tmr PH still gotta work.. Will be getting a day off in lieu.. Wednesday go back got to attend meeting in the morn and den late morn till late noon will be busy wif one more interview.. Hope can go back early on Wed!

Looking forward to going home & seeing my laogong and will try visit baobei son on Thurs or Fri! Think I overpacked for this trip. Hmm.. 1st time on business trip.. Not reali used to it! Hope this will be the first and last time!

I changed job again

It has been a while since I last blogged. After the arrival of my baobei son, I seem to have lesser energy for everything! All my spare time seems to revolve around him.. Weekends seem like not long enuf… I found a job after my confinement @ BP.. But it is not meant to be. After my Thailand trip, got infection @ my c-sec wound.. Due to that, took MC & leave to see doc abt it.. Juz as it was recovering, discovered the lump below my left breast has became infected.. The lump was there for as long as I can remember and one day it juz grew bigger and red and itchy & pain. As the pain became unbearable, I went to GP and was referred to CGH for an operation. Was given 14 days MC. Went back to work and was told tat because of my attendance, they decided to end the contract (initially 6 mths). With that, was out of a job..

After my contract ended, rested at home and went for many interview. Was offered a job @ BW Offshore for 1 yr contract and decided to take it up as I reali need the money. As I was a direct hire, got better benefits as compared to BP.. Am now working as a Executive, HR Operations there. Just started work on 11 May and was tasked to go Jakarta (here i am) for a recruitment drive..

So tired everyday. Weekend is burnt as I will either bring baobei home or will go to mum’s place to see him. He is growing bigger and bigger everyday. Now becoming more cute liao.. Started to “talk” baby talk and smiling.. So happy to see him everytime. Loving him more and more..

Ballot for a BTO flat and on our second attempt got a queue number (108). Estimated to complete by 2015 and will be going to view the model end of this month. So excited… Ok going to sleep now.

Been such a long time since I updated! My precious son is already born & 2 months now! Priority has since changed wif him here now…

Baobei name is Lewis Ng Yu Le. When has was juz born, look so much like me when I was a baby! Really love him so so much! More updates later!

Am on my way to my part time job, inside bus, so tot will do a short update. Lewis is growing well & big inside me. Went for check up yesterday & he’s now 3.5kg+ at week 38! Gynae keep asking me to go for induced delivery.. Still deciding on whether I shd do it & if yes, when..

Lunch + Hi Tea wif xiaoyi & ah zhu on 8 Nov

Went to meet xiaoyi & yingzhu for lunch on Monday @ Kovan Heartland Mall. Cos Yingzhu went to Kovan to see doc for her face. Went to level 2 & eat @ at a Korean cum Jap cafe for lunch. After tat, went to a Nonya cafe (oso on 2nd floor) for hi tea + dessert. Yummy!
